- What are Clear Window Clings?: Printed on glossy, 8mil thick vinyl, our clings offer nearly photo-quality visuals. Each cling has a paper backing that you remove before application, sticking only on the print's front side.
- Using White Ink and White Masks: We enhance your design by applying white ink behind the colored ink. A "white mask" is a template showing us which parts of your design should be opaque and which should be transparent. This technique improves the visibility and contrast of your design against the window.
- Design Tips:
- Black Ink Representation: Use 100% Black in the white mask file to show where white ink should go. This helps achieve vibrant colors in your design.
- Transparency and Opacity: Areas without a white mask will be transparent, offering a see-through effect. Parts with color and a white mask will be opaque, making them stand out.
- Pure White Areas: Sections with a white mask but no color will be white, adding crisp details to your design.
- Pure Black for White Mask: Ensure the black in your white mask file is 100% K (pure black - 0% C 0% M 0% Y 100% K) for accurate application of white ink.
