Here are ten tips for using raised spot UV effectively in your design:
-
Keep it simple: Raised spot UV works best for simple, flat designs, so try to keep your spot UV element as minimal as possible. A small accent can be very effective, but too much spot UV can be overwhelming.
-
Use it sparingly: While raised spot UV can add a lot of interest to your design, it's important not to overuse it. Use it sparingly to highlight specific elements or create accents, rather than covering large areas of your design.
-
Create contrast: Use raised spot UV to create contrast with the rest of your design. For example, you could use a glossy finish on a matte background, or use a raised spot UV element to draw the eye to a specific part of your design.
-
Choose the right areas to highlight: Consider which elements of your design you want to draw attention to, and use raised spot UV to highlight those areas. This could be a logo, a call to action, or a key piece of information.
-
Use contrasting colors: Raised spot UV works best when used with contrasting colors. For example, using a light color with a dark background can create a striking, high-contrast effect.
